I'm Mark Smith, a photographer, videographer, DJ and music producer based in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Through SUPAEDIT, I bring together my passion for visual storytelling, music and creative expression, working across photography, video and aerial imagery.
My photography spans property and architecture, landscapes, candid, coastal and rural scenes, alongside aerial and FPV drone videography. Whether I'm capturing the character of a property, the atmosphere of a location or the details that make a place unique, my approach is always the same: to create thoughtful, considered imagery with a strong sense of composition and perspective.
Creativity has always been a big part of my life. Alongside photography, I've had a longstanding passion for music, producing my own tracks across genres ranging from house to hip hop, as well as DJing. Although these are different creative disciplines, they share something fundamental: an appreciation for rhythm, atmosphere, detail and the ability to make people feel something.
After nearly three decades working in the bicycle industry, I took the leap into a new creative career, turning a long-standing passion for photography into my profession. That practical background has shaped the way I work today: hands-on, adaptable and always looking for new ways to approach things.
For me, creativity is about more than simply capturing what's in front of you or following a set formula. It's about finding a different perspective, noticing the little details and bringing ideas to life.
